Attendees from numerous life science and healthcare organizations gather in Boston to discuss application of Linguamatics I2E for business-critical knowledge discovery from text
Linguamatics previews new I2E product capabilities
(28 October 2010, Cambridge, UK) Linguamatics, a leader in enterprise text mining, held its Users Conference in Boston, MA, October 12-14. Participants from top pharma and life science organizations presented insights into working with Linguamatics technology and shared best practice strategies for mining text to inform business-critical decision-making in a wide variety of application areas.
The agenda featured speakers from a range of Linguamatics customers including Pfizer, Merck, Eli Lilly and Amgen. Further highlights included Round Table discussions of current challenges and opportunities in text mining, and live hands-on workshops enabling attendees to deepen their understanding of problem solving using I2E.
Conference attendees were given a preview of the new I2E 3.2 software, which provides significant improvements in performance, usability, functionality and results. Linguamatics’ newly released I2E Pipeline Pilot Components were also a focus, providing guidance on how text mining can be integrated into automated scientific workflows.
